Mr. Marcus Olinger

Mr. Marcus Olinger has been employed by the Coshocton County Career Center since 2022.  He is married to Rose Olinger and has two daughters, Layla and Bo.  

In 2005 Mr. Olinger earned a Middle Childhood Education Degree from Walsh University. He received a Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership from Muskingum University in 2013. 

Mr. Olinger has previously taught in the River View Local School District from 2005-2021.  He taught at the elementary level for 10 years and the junior high level for seven years.  

Mr. Olinger also serves as our local FFA club advisor. He uses this national organization as a platform to develop student skills and leadership within the Natural Resources program, and his students are automatically FFA members.

Mr. Olinger loves the outdoors.  He specifically enjoys hunting and fishing. Mr. Olinger hopes to inspire students to take their personal interests of the outdoors and find a way to make a career of it.
