Career Passport
The Career Passport is a vinyl, 3-ring portfolio, which is presented to each high school graduate who has attended the Career Center and has completed his/her career-technical program requirements.
The portfolio includes a number of documents based on ODE career-tech competency tests and our instructor’s assessments of the graduate’s occupational skills and achievements. It is meant to be used when a graduate applies for a professional position or admission into college. It offers prospective employers and/or college admissions representatives relevant information and assists in the meaningful dialog during the job/college interview process.
The Career Passport includes the applicant’s career-technical completion certificate, a listing of career-tech competencies earned, a resume, industry credentials or certifications earned, letters of recommendation, and certificates of good attendance and academic honors. There are additional protector pages that the program completer can use to hold any other information that he/she feels is pertinent.
The Career Passport is awarded to each graduating senior in a special senior awards ceremony, held at the Career Center, at the end of the school year.
